We provide digital credit application infrastructure for supply houses and the contractors who apply for trade credit through them. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information provided to us through our platform.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the following types of information:
- Supply house account information: Name, company name, business email, phone number, company address, and website provided during signup.
- Contractor application information: Business name, owner name, phone number, email address, business address, EIN, trade references, bank information, and any other information submitted as part of a credit application.
- Verification information: Phone numbers used for one-time passcode (OTP) verification.
- Usage data: Pages visited, actions taken within the platform, and device/browser information collected automatically.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To operate and maintain the Anchor Credit platform
- To verify the identity of contractors submitting credit applications via SMS one-time passcode
- To process and route credit applications to the appropriate supply house
- To send transactional notifications (application confirmations, status updates)
- To improve the platform and develop new features
- To comply with legal obligations
4. SMS Messaging
We send SMS messages solely for identity verification purposes (one-time passcodes). We do not send marketing SMS messages. Message and data rates may apply. To opt out of SMS messages, reply STOP to any message we send. For help, reply HELP or contact us at support@anchorcredit.co.
5. Information Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:
- With supply houses: Contractor application data is shared with the supply house the contractor is applying to, as intended by the contractor.
- With service providers: We use third-party services (including Supabase for data storage and Twilio for SMS) who process data on our behalf under data processing agreements.
- For legal compliance: We may disclose information when required by law or to protect our rights.
6. Data Retention
We retain account information for as long as your account is active. Credit application data is retained for as long as the supply house relationship is active. You may request deletion of your personal information by contacting us at support@anchorcredit.co. Note that some information may be retained in anonymized form for compliance and analytics purposes.
7. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), encrypted storage, and role-based access controls. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@anchorcredit.co and we will respond within 30 days.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify active users of material changes via email. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
